The thunderstorm came late in the evening. The temperature dropped from 25 in the evening to 7 degrees Celsius the next morning. The rain was icy cold as we walked from the cabin to the open chair-lift that was to take us down the bigger gondola lift. We put Fredrik into his sleeping-bag to keep him warm, and I used my jacket to cover him from the rain. We made it down in one piece and in good health. We had a great week up here in the Italian Alps.
